Initially the technician will need to identify what the depth of the oil stain is and how long it has been there, by examining it. If it is relatively dry, he will blot the rest of the moisture away with a clean paper towel and scrape off any excess of dried oil. He will then proceed to treat it with one of our non ammonia based detergents after he has tested it on a small unobtrusive piece of carpet.
